Additionally, the app provides a 60-second clock for timeouts (NFHS, NCAA) with alerts at 15, 5, and 0 seconds remaining, and a 30-second clock for timeouts (NCAA) with alerts at 5 and 0 seconds remaining.

One convenient feature of the app is the ability to start the play clocks by rotating the digital crown on the Apple Watch. Rotating the crown up starts the 40-second play clock, while rotating it down starts the 25-second play clock.

Football 4025 Playclock is integrated with HealthKit and the Health app on your phone, allowing you to review your in-game workout activity. It requires access to workout data in order to activate background mode and ensure accurate timing of the play clock. Background mode is automatically started when you push a button for the first time, and it is active when the square to the left of the timer is green. To turn off background mode, simply press the end game button at the bottom of the app.

Please note that this app requires watchOS 5.2 or greater and is supported on Apple Watch Series 4, Series 3, and Series 2. Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch (1st Generation) are not supported.
